STARGA Training Institute is growing, and we’re excited to announce that new career‑focused healthcare and wellness programs are currently in development. These programs are being designed to meet Massachusetts workforce needs, follow industry and federal standards, and provide students with the practical skills required for long‑term success.
As we finalize curriculum approvals and scheduling, here’s a preview of what’s coming.
Medical Assistant Program
Our upcoming Medical Assistant (MA) program will prepare students for clinical and administrative roles in hospitals, clinics, and physician offices. The curriculum will include:
- Clinical procedures (vital signs, EKGs, injections, specimen collection)
- Medical office administration
- Anatomy & physiology
- Electronic health records
- OSHA and CDC safety standards
- Patient communication and professionalism
This program will align with Massachusetts healthcare training expectations and prepare students for national MA certification exams.
Massage Therapy Program
STARGA will soon offer a comprehensive massage therapy program designed to meet the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Massage Therapy requirements. Students will learn:
- Anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
- Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic techniques
- Ethics and professional standards
- Client assessment and treatment planning
- Safety, hygiene, and contraindications
Graduates will be prepared to pursue state licensure and enter the growing field of wellness and therapeutic services.
Medical Billing & Coding Program
Our upcoming Medical Billing & Coding program will train students to work in healthcare administration, insurance processing, and medical records. The curriculum will include:
- ICD‑10‑CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Insurance claims and reimbursement processes
- HIPAA and federal compliance standards
- Electronic health records
- Revenue cycle management
This program will prepare students for national certification exams such as CPC, CCA, or CBCS.
