STARGA CNA Refresher and test prep Program

At STARGA Training Institute, we support aspiring and returning Certified Nursing Assistants with a comprehensive CNA Refresher Course and State Exam Preparation Program. This course is designed for individuals who have previously completed a state‑approved Nurse Aide Training Program or have prior CNA experience but need to refresh their skills before taking the Massachusetts Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation (NACE).

Our curriculum aligns with Massachusetts DPH regulations and federal OBRA guidelines, ensuring students review all required knowledge and hands‑on skills needed to safely and effectively care for residents in long‑term care and healthcare settings.

Our refresher program provides a complete review of the federally mandated 21 CNA skills and the knowledge areas tested on the Massachusetts exam.

• Classroom Review: Key concepts based on OBRA and MA DPH requirements

To be eligible for the Massachusetts Nurse Aide Competency Exam, students must:

• Have completed a state‑approved Nurse Aide Training Program, or
• Provide documentation of prior CNA training or experience (subject to DPH approval)
• Present valid identification on exam day
• Demonstrate proficiency in both the written and skills components
